Fork guards or no fork guards?

I got and installed the full length seal savers tonight and had also put the forks back in the triple clamps and the ski back on the front axle and fork clamps.

The seals slipped on easily and I like how, when I had gone and compressed the leg, the seal stays on the entire slider the whole time.

Keeping the ice buildup off is probably important but if t you are worried about scratching them you should probably just put a guard on the upper part of the fork instead. Trees and branches won't scratch the chrome. I don't run them and have no problems after 3 long seasons. I also put gas line antifreeze in my fork oil so if anyice/ water gets past seals it will mix with the oil and not rust everything inside.
