Another thought. Perhaps a few Liberal skiiers found there in the winter should also be found there in July..............

Going into Silverton there is a new Forest Service Sign. Skiers ONLY

So what would happen if you brought some ski's with you, tied them on the back of your sled for some back country skiing. Then stash the ski's in the woods and ride all day? Maybe even ski one run to say you did and be honest if you got a ticket and had to go to court. Tell the judge you where a skier, and you did ski.

Unless it is the Andrews Lake property ( I think that is the name of the lake on the south side of US 550), when does the USFS has jurisdiction on CDOT hiway right of way.

If the FS law dog has been sworn in by local sheriffs office he can enforce the law of the land anywhere he is.

luckily for us the sheriff refuses to swear mike in so he can only enforce law on FS lands

But he tried to right parking tickets here one day and that is county property and all where thrown out
