I know this should be in "Land use issues" but I don't think many go there.

As if we don't have enough problems! If you ride anywhere in B.C. check out the new legislation being put forward in Victoria.

Now do something about it! There are sample letters there to print out and mail to Government.

The rules are made by those who show up!

sent a letter to my local MLA, although he is NDP so I don't know how far that will get! haha, also send one to our premier, thanks for letting me know, I had no idea!

That bill has now been pulled but maybe introduce at a later time. They were planning on having some public meetings on it so if they bring it back I will try and post when they are. The problem now is that public use is way down on the totem pole and roads are all ready being gated or deactivated with no public input. This does effect tourism and if changes to the bill can be made that will give the public more say it could actually be a good thing but changes to the bill as it was introduced would have to be made.

Yup, my local MLA just told me it's been pulled too, but could come back. Still good to let your politicians know what you think though, so it doesn't come back without changes.
