Ford F-150 w/Sled Deck is it enough?

You could put a single deck on a 150 and be legal in Canada. but a double with 2 sleds and all your gear for the weekend will for surely put your over max in Canada. When you drive to Revy and you go past the scales between Chilliwack and Hope they pull you in and put you on the scale. I have seen it twice now. Nothing but a cash grab. the last thing i would want is a nasty fine and then having to leave one sled behind well I went to drop the other off

Yeah that's a no go and dropping a sled off on the way to Revy.

Maybe F-150 load the sled in the back and rock the single place trailer when needed.

Garage at work claims the safety bar hangs at 6.2ft. It does and trucks scrape but today there was a new F-150 pulling in and managed it. Have to pick your angles on the pipes above.

Wet gear and gas cans work much better in the back of a pickup then they do in the back of an explorer. Not to mention I think DOT will slap you with a ticket as well if you carry gas cans in your enclosed vehicle as well.

This sport is getting to expensive!

just get a 250 and put hydraulics in so it can be a lowrider during the week and jack it up for the weekend
