BTW CMX belt drives have the brake on the lower shaft as it should be and a tensioner . these are two HUGE differences that will make a HUGE difference in longevity of the belt.

How would that help longevity? The brake is down there in case it brakes you can stop. And the tensioner is so you can change gears. Neither of those would help longevity?

By the brake being on the bottom the belt iisnt stoping the sled the shaft and the brake is and a tensioner reduces the shock force by keeping the belt in tension . Basic really
