For all of you getting your new sleds ready for winter, I will be offering some good deals on GGB cans. Be heard, save weight, enjoy a good crisp sound that your new ride deserves! Hit me up for details!

It is very hard to compare sounds by a video. Is there any way you can use a DB meter to compare stock to the trail version? At least that would be an accurate comparison.

I think you could trust the trail can. The Mtn can is very loud, but does sound amazing, but again LOUD. Like once my riding partners said something to me it started to annoy me... This was on an XM though. Axys has a SLP stage 2 kit.

I do not have a DB meter, but the trail can is definitely mellow, compared to the mountain can. I actually enjoy the sound of the trail can.

Mtn can sounds phenomenal on the AXYS but if there are noise restrictions then definitely not the right can for you. I know the GGB's trail can is a step down from there and should fit the bill of better than stock but quiet enough to not attract unwanted attention. Plus the weight savings is great.

You can download a db meter app. Probably accurate enough for this comparison.

Fantastic idea. . . thanks for the heads up :)

Maybe the original poster could do a comparison with the DB meter app and report back . . .? I am VERY interested in how the quietest one compares to stock.

The trail can on the pro sounds very nice. Out of the snow at WFO it doesn't even get obnoxious. It has a nice "twin pipe" sound to it with a good silencer. I'm getting the trail can for my axys. The mountain can I can't speak for.

Replied to your pm, Thank you.

If you care about your hearing stay away from the Ggb mtn can. Ive had numerous cans and the Ggb is just over top. It has a rippling sound at the too end that is too loud and in my opinion doesnt match the power output of the sled. In other words I compare it to that kid who took his muffler completely off his Honda so people would think hes fast. I seriously hated the thing by the end of the season. I have 2 pros with skins cans, 1 ultra q and 1 super q. The super is loud but tolerable. I personally like the quieter cans because you dont sound like that guy who is trying to sound fast.

Indeed the GGB mountain can is loud, Nobody has said it was quiet. Also, I don't believe people are buying a mountain can to sound "fast" they buy it to be heard when riding away from their groups. Also because they like the sound of a loud sled and massive weight savings. :juggle:

I personally like when one of my friends has the GGB, I can always go find what tree he is down in just because of his loud ***.

They call that "pseudo power" hahaha!!
I personally prefer the stock loudness and tone. The SLP pipe and can are very close to this.

Doesn't seem too hard or expensive (download app) for the Mfg. or retailer to do a Db test on these options so us savvy consumers can make an informed, intelligent decision, that gives us the tone/loudness we want AND save our hearing . . .???
