FOR SALE, SALVAGED 2012 ASSAULT WITH EXTRAS

So here is my problem, have a 2012 Assault RMK that is basically totaled out, the insurance company is giving me enough to pay it off so whats the value, here is what is wrong with it. Motor broken piston skirt with a hole in the bottom of the motor. Body, broken side panels, broken tab on the hood panel and the bumper broke off. When it was in the shop waiting for the insurance I picked up some new pistons for it since I knew it was seized and that it was going to need at least pistons. Also have Airframe running boards for it brand new in the box. My thought process was if it was running, with the body damage i would ask like 6000 for it and go down to like 5500, so I would think 3500 as it sits is a decent price or 4000 with the airframes. Not trying to scam someone but not giving it away either. So this problems are the only ones so what of you think it would be worth parted out? Thanks guys

Just for comparison I traded my '10 Assault on a '14 Assault LE. '10 was excellent cond. Dealer gave 4900.00 and also excellent price on the '14. I sold an '05 Summit rolling chassis for 2500.00 in '07. I think your best bet is to sell as is asking your 3500.00. A little high but you can always come down. A new motor in IMO is going to return your investment.

IMO, Insurance companies ALWAYS offer you lower than what it's worth. They expect a counter-offer from you. For example, if their first offer is $2500 to you, ask them for $3500 and settle at $3000. Remember, they have paid full-time people trained in getting you to accept the lowest offer possible.

Little confussed. Is the insurance company totalling the sleds or are they writting a check for the repairs. If it is totalled they keep it and sell it at auction or offer you buy back price.
