THIS MIGHT BE A SCAM!
I reached out to this person about this avy pack and received conflicting info on it.
On snow west ad it says “brand-new, never-used”. . . . We ended up with an extra after a long wait on our order, so this one won’t be needed”.
By email he says “Honestly, I haven’t used it often, and it’s still in excellent condition”
So, I did a google reverse image search of the pictures he sent, and found the exact same thing on sendy in Denver posted about 1.5 years ago. Same pictures - just cropped. He claims a friend in Denver (named PM500) put it on sendy for him. On sendy it says “ like new”.
I asked if it was the compressed cylinder type or fan type, and got this message “yes this is the one compressed with the air cylinders.”
Then i asked the same question again and for a photo of it showing which it was, and got this “the photo shows the fan system in its proper form—it’s not compressed”
He wanted 1/2 payment upfront and i can pay the rest once i received the backpack.
I asked him to explain the conflicting statements, and he quit replying.
I also asked these questions . . . . but never did get a reply.
So how old is the pack?
Do you actually have the pack in your possession?
Can you send a picture of the tag that shows the SKU, size and model #?
I need to see a picture of the fan system or the compressed cylinders .
Does it have a battery inside the pack?
