Fogging oil?

ok, crazy question here, but I read on another snomachine forum that a good way to get a decent cleaning on your power valves without removing them is to remove the plugs and put in some Fogging oil, put plugs back in and then let it run for a bit. It's supposed to smoke like crazy and clean out the power valves. Completely crazy of some truth??

I run a ton of fogging oil into the motor in the spring as I'm putting them away. Yep, she'll smoke. I haven't seen any benefits of it cleaning the valves though.

That sounds more like snake oil to me

They are pretty easy to clean so I think you would be far better off to pull them out and make sure they are clean and working properly.
