flat bed vs sled deck

Full Lotus sled decks

This particular customer had two independent ramps that we stored under each quad.

However we could make it so the ramps store accross the front of the deck attached to the headache rack.

Another option is using two of our single loaders side by side and making it the deck halfs tilt independently.

The options are endless it is just what the customer wants, we can dress these units up, it's endless.

We have done quite a few of these now. There are a couple ways of mounting them to the frame. If the customer is on a budget we use 4 x 4 pressure treated posts and notch them out to fit on the bed rails attaching the entire unit with U bolts. If the customer wants to spend a bit more we build a custom aluminum frame that follows the profile of the bed frame again attaching with u bolts. With the retractable sides of our sled decks this system works awesome. Another great system that we have done is take 2 of our single loaders and put them on a truck side by side they tilt individually eliminating the need for a ramp system. We have also made flat decks that sit about 6" off the bed rails that way you can tuck our ramps under them.

I love those fold down sides on the one from knee. I just use two 4'x8' sheets of 3/4 (sideways) with 2'x4' stakes and ski glides.
