Fix it didn't fix it

Broke motor on my 09 d8 last season at about 700 miles. Not totally bad but broken ring on pto side. I decided to put in the fix it kit and got 300 miles on it last year. Decided to put slp pipe and clutching in it this year and took maiden voyage and only made it half mile and lost pto piston again. Just a fluke same piston or what is going wrong here? I don't want to rebuild with no confidence. What do you all think?

Check your intake boot for separation. They delaminate from the steel plate. Other than that check all your bearing seals.

fuel filter? whats the piston look like? maybe oil injection? x2 on boots lots of stories bout them. any pix

Stock computer setup with ethanol plug unplugged. This was the first ride with blended fuel so I unplugged the wire. Warmed it up to 115 before I pulled down the trail and like I said only half mile or so before it quite. Really no warning.

Sorry about the red. Damn phones. I suspect the first ride out for the year. Alot more possible reasons for the seize. Bad gas, clogged fuel filter, injectors

Sorry to hear that you are still having trouble, but the statement that you made of only going a half a mile is a strong indicator that you have an oil issue. If you can please pm me with a picture and/or call me and we will give you all the information you need to diagnose what is going on in your engine. "THE FIX" is the fix for many of the problems associated with the polaris motor, but there is still a variety of things that can go wrong still. I look forward to helping anyone who needs it and pray we can all have a safe and long winter! I just want to thank everyone for the positive feedback and positive attitude toward this product and appreciate the comments.

I thought you needed a PCV with the slp pipe even with the eth plug undone??
