Fishing Pics - Western Canada

My cousin is really into fly fishing so he took me out to the Highwood River, near Longview, AB: http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=e...579,-114.313087&spn=0.08075,0.288391&t=h&z=13

After an hour drive from Calgary we arrived at 9:30am and parked the car within a 15min walk to the river. It was cold (-9C) and with the river being in a valley, the sun didn't reach the water until about 10:30am.

This is what most of the rock we were walking on was like.

After not getting many bites at the 1st pool, we climbed out of the valley and headed downstream looking for another pool.

I love the depth in your photos...GREAT shots.

There are better ones on there as far as composition...but this one is a KILLER place in the river. I like this one a lot.
