as of Sunday at 3 pm the roads at chiwawa pines where just getting dusted my buddy is going to over on wednesday night i'll find out from him

jer

Went over Monday, there was just about 2 inches. I am hopeful that Thursday - Friday we'll get some snow. Probably going to truck up somewhere. Also there may be a lot of trees down from the last couple of weeks and no good club communication system asking for help with that???

Turkey Morning and still only 2-1/2 inches in Chiwawa Pines. Light snow and forcast for 1-3" today, 2-4" tonight, 2-4" Friday, 1" Friday night.

Not slowing some down... new looking Articat HCR going up and down the street this morning :face-icon-small-ton

Yep Still Not Enough

Yep I am in Plain and looking out the window and still not enough for a Turkey day ride. Looks like this area will get a few inches this week but the Westside of the mountains are going to get hammered.

Happy Turkey Day

Update

Gregg out at Trinity said he got 11" last night and that doubled what was on the ground.

A buddy up Mad River said he had 7" total on Wednesday.

They did the first grooming Dec 1st, looks like we got another 11" Mon-Tue.
Next week Mon-Wed more to come!

Rode from Chiwawa River Pines 11/25 and it was thin until you got to the first bridge toward Trinity after you cross the Chiwawa River. After that it was a good powder ride all the way to Trinity. Since then they have gotten enough snow to groom so it should be good rode riding now.

Rode up to sugarloaf (almost)

We were up there last wednesday and there was no way you are getting to the very top of sugarloaf. You can get within about an eigth of a mile or so from it, but thats it, trees all over the trail. I would recommend to everyone to hold off on the boondocking until we get a better base. I have a sled in peirres polaris with 1200 bucks worth of front end suspension damage......oops!:tape2:

Thanks for the Reminder

That area has cost our group several $$$ grand and many near misses! Thoes trees jump in front of you too:face-icon-small-sho

Need to be patient for the base… Getting some heavy wet snow this week and hopefully by X-mas/NewYears???

Base Building!

It is dumpping at 2000' as of 4pm, calling for 7-11 inches tonight before the rain
