Fish Lake Saturday and Sunday?

Please PM me those secret spots. I live in the area, and I haven't found that many places to ride up there, although I haven't really ventured around. My normal spot is either Blewett or Colockum for local riding, but have found myself up at Fish Lake quite a bit this year.

Definitely not my world, a lot of local folks and their dads pioneered and have forgotten more about the area than I ever will scratch. I try and keep it a little secret in respect for the long time local riders that ride there occasionally. By not posting pics or video with the direct name of the areas. There is a lot of area around Fish Lake though and unless we get a bad mid winter dry spell or a dismal snow depth year you can find good snow and few tracks. I often laugh when coming back from an epic trip and see all the tracks down low through the woods and realize they had fun too! That is the best thing about that area; on a good snow year there is something for everyone.

As 2thetop and others can attest to some of the best riding is not the easiest to get to and some of it is not for most riders; either too hard or not hard enough… It is really hard to get to the Baker-like stuff and a real bad place to have an unreliable sled or to do something too risky and break something or worse… get hurt. Also I am not anywhere near the best rider, maybe a solid C+ rider, but it is nice to have riding buddies that are good enough to get around and teach me a trick or several.

I’ll PM you Bill, always looking for some more riding buddies. This spring is getting a little busy for me though so kinda hard to schedule something. There were several weekends in January I was hurting for riding buddies though.
