First Tracks and Im at work......

well, my riding buddies got out for there first ride of the year, sad to say i couldnt make it cause i discovered some pretty good cracks in my bulkhead over the weekend...... sounds like about 3 feet of bottomless.....the boys found a nice meadow to do some riding.....some west kootenay pow for ya!!!!!

Meadow is the place to be at first, a lot less rocks to hit. You guys went the day after us, was there any fresh covering up our tracks already?

Actually, we passed you on our way home on Saturday on the bridge in Nelson. Recognize the sleds from on the deck.

Yeah we were there Saturday and Tuesday. They must have done like no riding on Friday or we got a tonn of snow that night because there were pretty much no tracks past the cabin! And Good, go up there before we get the storm thats coming on Saturday so we have all the fresh for Sunday! :face-icon-small-win

Been there done that lol! 3 feet bottomless then DIRT! lol
Last year some guy hit a rail cart in the POW! and totaled off his sled!
That would suck! Year before that a guy hit a rock and took off arms , ski , shock and half his bulk head lol. Think I will give it a month

Yup, first tracks are oh-so-sweet but can also be bad bad times. I can't count how many early rides have been cut short because someone lost an A-arm, smucked a stump, hit a rock, or ended up injuring themselves in a wreck.

I usually do some logging road riding or hit up a local summer hiking area.... but it's really hard not to go off trail!

Eh Clark how was it today? We're headin to Trout Lake tomorrow to meet up with Rene then head to the Castlegar show as soon as we get back. And Meadow is on tap again for Sunday
