First time going to the NFR - Any Tips?

I just made a last minute decision to go the NFR next weekend. Flying out Thursday and coming home Sunday. I have always wanted to go to the NFR, but never been. Getting ready to book a room at Bill's Gambling Hall. I know it won't be like staying at The Mirage or Mandalay Bay (I have stayed at both for work), but the price is right and so is the location. Hope to go to the rodeo one night if we can get tickets for a decent price. Have been told it worth going to South Point afterwards for the buckle presentation and dance. Also plan to check out the Cowboy Christmas. Any other suggestions on things to do or check out? Thanks.

That is why we are going during the NFR...to hopefully get away from some of that.
