First time BC trip

Planning to ride in BC around Christmas but not sure where to go. Leaving from northwest Montana, I was thinking either Golden or Revelstoke. Dont want to travel much farther than to revelstoke. Any suggestions? Which place has better snow around that time? How does the riding compare?

I'd go with Revelstoke, it has lots of good areas to ride and Sicamous is only 40 min away so you have access to it to. Even Quartz creek just outside of golden would only be an hour and fifteen. Revelstoke has more of a night life then Golden, and revelstoke has peelers!!

Golden has strippers too ! Stick with Revy & Sicamous, you won't be disappointed.

cant go wrong with sicamous they got four different hills from a nice family ride at blue lake but you can still have lots of fun there to terrian just like revy at eagles pass.

A good trip for yourself coming from Bozeman may be a stop in fernie then up to Radium, on to Golden for a couple of days and then on to Revy. I usually do the trip myself at least once a year. All depending on how many days you plan on riding. This at least lets you see a bunch of different areas.

From what I can remember, the peeler joint is 2 blocks north of Mary's Motel. It looks like a large old house, in downtown Golden. 6 st & 9 ave on the corner. They had some sled vids playing all night aswell. Pretty hard to beat strippers, sled vids & alcohol ! ......... Oh, and the sleddings alright too.

Fred Wilson's place...turn left at the Shell truck stop. Two blocks up left again then third barn on the right. First cow drops out of the hay-loft at 7 pm.
