First RMK IQ? Black goop?

So I picked up an 08 RMK 700 a couple weeks back. I went to load it on the trailer on Wednesday and noticed a small amount of black oily stuff on the ground. My first thought was a leaky chaincase but I pulled the pipe and there does not appear to be any leaking out of the cover. The small puddle was less than an ounce of goop and it dripped from the pto side (the opposite side of the chaincase) where the plastic meets the bulkhead. The stuff was so sticky and black it almost looked like it could be 2-stroke goo.

Any ideas on what it could be.

My guess is that this is oil/fuel residue being dumped overboard by the exhause valve solenoid. Check the routing of the dump line from the solenoid and I beleive you'll find that this is the source of your goo. You might want to pull your ex. valves and check for tears in the bellows.

I would say oil residue from the exhaust valves vent tube. when I took my front apart to install my Skinz front bumper there was a small puddle of thick oil in the bottom of the bulkhead area from the vent tube. You could always install a small catch can, but eventually you'll roll the sled and dump it anyways.

So it sounds like I should filler with premium and have fun. Thankd for the input.:beer;
