First Ride with the Twisted M1000

With a boost it I think I would increase F/P just to fatten the bottom end. Keep the 1000 wet and it will last a lot longer.

Boost it simply leaves the sled running stock when not on boost. When boondocking or coming down after a pull they run stock. They reference boost along with rpm to activate secondary injectors. The new boxes this year have a baro sensor inside so at elevation mapping stays consistent. Another advantage is you can change boost and not have to remap like an attitude box. Coming off a ride Friday on trail I twisted boost down from 20 to 13psi while running at trail speed and sled ran perfect. I am impressed with setup my .02

What machine are you running the boost it box on?

It could be partly me on expecting more out of the bottom end than what actually is capable for the 1000, but I had a few other people try the machine out that were running an attitude fuel box on theirs and they could not get it to clean up either. They were on 800 poo's though so that could be a little part of it too.

It is running on an m1000. I run my fuel at 42psi. I originally had an attitude box just get tired of tuning all day. I set boost it box and then remounted under hood. Everyone has a preference. My preference is to ride.

I can't see what the complaints on the additude box are, I put the new gen box on last year once set up I adjusted once a month maby. The main thing to remember with the additude box is if youre sled is running good and then you have a funky pull shut if off and reset the box take another pull. Nine times out of ten the next poke the sled will run as good as before. Some guys shut the sled off half way up the trail to reset the altitude on the box. If the altitude needs resetting on the box tuning just makes good settings worse.
