First Ride report and Pro to SBA Comparison

so I got my first miles on my new Pro today. About 40 total. No blown belt, no screwed drive shaft. Just 40 miles of riding

I did manage to get it stuck twice, my own fault tho. You can sure here the whine of the belt drive, sounds like a little turbo in there

here is what I thought. Seems to have more grunt out of the box than my 11 SBA has. I love the boards. No issues with snow collection, and traction on them is amazing. I need to set it up for just a little bit of weight transfer in the rear skid. Also skid is sagging about an inch already. Likely because of all the snow and ice in there.

Here is the comparison part:
carving on the Pro 155 is def easier than the SBA. Low end also goes to the Pro. Of course top speed goes to the SBA. Out of the box I like the handlebar height of the Pro. I'm about 6'1 and added a 2" riser to the SBA. The stock position of the Pro is pretty damn near right on to this height. I measured both in my shop side by side using the same reference point. Stock Pro is 1/2" lower than the SBA was with a 2"

I never really got to hit anything real hard and test the suspension out. Launched off a few approaches at mediocre speeds and it never bottomed out. Should handle the odd ditch ride as well as the SBA did. likely won't stand up to it as well tho.

Aside from the carving, the Pro is for sure more nimble than the SBA. As i stated earlier I got the Pro stuck mostly because of my own error. I was playing around in a 6' deep bottomless bank along the road and was just doing some basic side to side carving. I used the same amount of input as I always did on my SBA for a similar manuever, next thing I know sled does a complete 180 and I'm confused and stuck. I guess I will have to learn that this chassis takes less rider input to perform the same things.

I also love the shorter seat. prefer it to the longer seat the SBA had. feels just about right when I do sit down and cruise for a while, and it was not in the way one bit for hoping board to board

My switchback was the talk gearing and shorter lug track the first year I had it. Last year and still currently is a 1.75 backcountry with rmk gearing. I have a thread somewhere comparing the two setups
