First Ride on DJ clutch kit for 08 XP 154

First I'll list my mods.. (not very long the sled is stock!)

Removed all foam and extra plastic
Idadoo Vent kit
Specialty Can

Then I did all the recalls Drive shaft, grips, etc

Got the DJ clutch kit with 15.9g of weight, the QR11 helix and the primary spring he sent.. Running the 377 belt and the 21/45 gearing. We ran at 6000 - 7000 feet all day.. I think i need a gram or two more weight to put the clutch where i need it for my weight/setup.. sled on clicker 1 would rev ~8300 rpm.. On semi hard pack pulls it would record 53mph..

Admit idly there wasn't very much snow to be found in Valemount but we did manage to find a few bottomless pulls. DJ's kit comes on strong of the bottom, I found I would out pull most sleds out of the hole. The helix would keep the sled ramped up hard and even if you let of the gas the power was immediately back. Once i get more weights installed I will be in the perfect range for more top speed. Engagement was 3800 rpm and cruised down the trail at 25mph at 5500 - 6000 rpm

Clutches were bare hand touchable all day even after multiple pulls and long stints down the bumpiest trails on the planet.. No cords no issues..

Thanks Dynamo Joe!

Thats exactly what it supposed to doo. I had one on my 03'. it made a huge differnce, keep the RPM's right all the time, especially when you are boondocking getting off and on the throttle the RPM's were right there everytime. I can't wait to put it on my 06'.

I set up his combo with 16.8 g or there about, seems great, but then I added terra head and bumped up another 1/2 or so. clicker 1 on the trails 3 or 4 in the pow
