First Ride of the Season!!!! October 3rd!!! A new personal record!!!!!

1st day riding this season, I can't believe its only friggen Oct 3rd!!!!! Killer snowpack, should be gravy fom here! There was about 4 feet up top, it got fairly warm which should make for a great base. I think the earliest I'd ever ridden before was around Oct 15th back in 1999/2000, Oct 3rd is definitely a new personal record for me and crazy early for the South Coast of BC. Shaping up to be a great start to the season.

Funny, in the last pic I thought it was you behind your sled buried up to your neck until I actually opened it full size. Now that would have been DEEP! haha

Its an area out Squamish called Brohm Ridge. Its about 25 min south of Whistler.

Its been at the shop for the last 2.5 months, I broke the drop brackets, they are probably procrastinating doing that job, its brutal. I would too if I were them, hopefully I'll get it back soon.

It was surprising decent, I didn't hit any rocks. Anymore snow on top of this and its go time.

Right on! We used to get early snow back in the 90's, but then the cycle seems have shifted too mid- November. I didn't think I had the official record for early starts, I'm sure someone must have ridden in Sept way back whenever.

September is the only month I have never ridden my sled. I have been on Brohm Ridge in August riding the crappy red snow but I still rode! One of these years I will ride in the month of September!!
