Saturday was my first trip out this season and for interest sake here is the pluses and minuses of the modes I made this fall to my 08 XP:

SLP head ... slight plus but was hoping for more power.

semi hard plastic mountain bar .... yes this was a good upgrade.

2 wheel kit ... Sorry Smitty nice look but I did not feel much difference.

Spindle Dawgs .... :face-icon-small-con this is what we are calling them, this was a nice surprize. They are add-ons that I made to offset the tie rods from the spindles 2 cm to reduce steering effort by 20%. I am going to let others try my sled and get feedback to see if others appreciate the lighter feel with the comprimise of reducing turning radius by 20%.
These are the lightest sleds on the market an I believe they should feel like it and it still turns as tight as any other brand.

Those spindle dawgs are interesting, let us know what you think of them and if they help only on the trail or in sidehilling, boondocking, carving, etc. as well.

Spindle Dawgs look interesting, I'll follow this! Which SLP head did you put on & what elevation were you riding at?
