The day you came up and your buddy broke down a mile from the lot?. lol, no. Seems a lot of days start as big group rides and end with groups breaking off. That day started out with Mmaxcarver and 1/2 a dozen Dakotans, then split off and met up with Hammertime and a few buddy's at the tower, then ran into Chevy boy with a dozen of his peeps down on the west side of Buff pass.

I believe it! I heard 2 feet and more coming tonight. A couple more weeks of huntin and time to start ridin.

The picture that Dave posted I took the day before I rode. I almost didn't get out of there because it was snowing so hard. On the way out I couldn't see, drove off the road, and almost got stuck. That night it really dumped hard. Good thing I just got new tires on the Suburban. I think the only reason we didn't see more accumulation down lower in Steamboat was because the ground was so warm.

Anyone wanna give a road ride at RE a try this weekend? Is there enough snow?
I could head back down to Vernal here pretty quick if there's some ridin to be done ... gotta start my new job on Monday

Snow settles after a week ya know and it is deeper in some spots than others. geeesh. Good news is those numbers should start disappearing soon. The divide is all socked in and flakes are flying by my house sideways, that pretty much means the west slope is in for a poundingCOMan, if your up north, the sheltered trails over 10K around Cameron pass should be rideable, been getting light snow for a week, but some bare spots are bound to pop up. Not sure when the gate on long-draw road closes, maybe this weekend. It's sheltered for quite a few miles and should have a foot or two now, maybe four by the weekend. Snowies too. Buff, but maybe not from the east side. Any Ear's reports? snotel shows a foot or so.

Good snow on it for the first 6 miles before it opens up into the bowl, but it may not be groomed

I have to figure out where to go if my damn ECU comes in its just an old school mod sled but I want to try and get her broke in before the season really hits. I am due for surgery on the 19th and will be shot till the end of december, so I would like to know if this thing is gonna blow before that time so I can get it together. Lastly the wife is deployin and I would really like to get her out once before that happens.
I am down south in the springs so I have to do soem searching.
