sled pulled like a freight train, has garrett 2860 but i could not here my turbo spool like i've noticed on cutler turbo sleds, mine is a boon dockers and I don't hear so well, but could not hear the spooling sound from engine compartment, is that normal or what?

The CPC cold air intake directs that sound right at you. I'm loving the sound and the pull of 8#s!

I was surprised how much I can hear the turbo on my cpc set up, love it and the helmet cam picks up the sound too:)

My buddies BD dragon doesn't make much noise from the turbo either but hauls as$ like my M8. Probably the placement and hood dampening the spooling sound. You could try Twisted's cold air intake set up. Never seen one in person but it might give you the million dollar sound back to enjoy:)

I talked to a buddy who has had a turbo for a while- no sound because of tunnel dump

it's a tunnel dump that's why i'm not hearing the turbo spool- which is too bad because its music to my ears- oh well, the sled runs awesome, i had perma grin all day it rocks being turbonized

The Boondocker kits are made to meet the sound codes without hampering the performance as well. They do muffle the turbo sound a touch instead they give you a deep sound more like a big bore or a can. Gives you a sleeper that's for sure.
