First thread? Don't mind if i do.

So i went to start up my 06 xfire 7-8bb yesterday for the first time all summer and the check engine light was flashing. i checked the code it was flashing and i said it was the air temp sensor. wondering if it could have just been from the warm day(85degrees) or if the sensor is actually bad.

i know this code will pop on sometimes on a warm riding day after a long climb but i usually just pop the hood for a minute and it goes away. any input?

damn you beat me to the first post...Yes thats probably the case, you can try cleaning the sensor as well as it might have some dust of something on it causing it to read goofy

Poach.

But since it is the first post..............I love this new format!

No need to sort thru the weeds.
