Just got home from Schriebers Meadows, definatly the lowest snow cover ive seen there but was still great riding visibility was pretty good high overcast. I rode With Kpilot and one of his buddys took between and hour to 2 hours to get from right after the creek crossing to the flat spot below peanut knob Between walking a trail sawing a few branches and shoveling and then a 300 yard sidehill on railroad grade another creek crossing and we were there, felt good to be the first ones there we rode up to gas drop/Hoods knob and tracked between there and pheanut knob up a few climbs up sulfur side but still lots of freshies for anyone that want to try to make it. Only hit one rock and went flyin over the handlebars no damage though, i was going pretty slow, heres a few pics looks a little different then mid-season -enjoy-

no kidding. i never knew there were trees on hood knob. believe it or not those trees are burried in about six feet of snow! it looks wierd cuz we're used to a lot more, but belive me there is alot more up there than down low. some of those rocks are the size of your truck. get off you sled and you could sink up to your neck. the rocks were more of a jump and a tech fun obstacle than anything else. you can't see much in the pics, but those bumps and holes were huge. you'd drop ten feet into a hole and power out. sometimes the creek was 8-12 feet down. you'd have to jump it at a few spots. after a few runs through, the trail is pretty easy. we did all the hard work. just don't come down from peanut in fresh tracks. you're likely to end up in a 30 foot hole! some of the down hill side hilling may be the only tough spot now. all in all it was a blast.

Yeah, lack of snow for sure, doesn't help that the trees are getting taller but more snow is definatley needed

ski doo baby! my summit x xp broke trail all the way up and was first up. my cat buddy in the pics was talkin about puttin the turbo back on all the way home:D ! (sorry kpelan) really happy with the new sled!
