First mods?

I know it has been beaten to death for some of you guys. What first for a 2010 M8? Side Vents, clutching, skis, cold air intake, can or all of the above? Probably would do all of these changes or others if needed. Are some of these things like skis or the clutch good enough to run as is? Thanks for help in advance.

I know the 09's were pretty belt hungry, so if the side vents save you a belt, they just payed for themselves right there. Plus venting these sleds is just a good idea anyway.
The clutching on my 09 was very good for stock, though I'm hearing that the 46/38 helix is killer for these sleds and I'm going to try it.

The stock skis on my 09 sucked bigtime, but may be better for 10. I know they are different this year.
I love my Powder-Pro's though.

The alignment and suspension set up on mine was TERRIBLE, though mostly a dealer set up thing I think. First thing though, I'd go through all that.

Anti-stab kit is a real good idea.

Too early to know much on the 10's yet, but the usual stuff should still apply.

Im gonna ride mine stock a couple rides then add a can and maybe some A2D pod vents.. so far all ive done is added ice scratchers that I bought from SummitSeeker three years ago and they still work like brand new..:)

Mods

The moment I shut it off in the garage, it started.
Ripped windshield off
Removed all bogies and put on scratchers
Lefty throttle
USI Triple Threat ski's (white)
Lost all the insulation under the hood
Picking up my can when I go to Revy!

-Ski alignment for sure
-Clutches pulled and cleaned, then checked for alignment, parallelism, and deflection
-Vent kit
-Scratchers
-Skis, left throttle, etc is a personal choice

Then ride it and decide. I wouldn’t invest in pipe, engine, or suspension mods until more testing is done by the aftermarket companies, and we get more info from the trusted sources here on SnoWest. It’s a brand new motor, and as we learned with the 07 M8, some engine mods worked, and others just ate money.

Skis, can, and vents is what wyrider did right away. The rest can wait until he rides it more and figures out what it really needs. :)
