First impressions on the 2010 M8

Well I got to ride my 010 M8 this bast thursday in some good snow at about 9500 feet. First thing I noticed when getting off of my 800 Polaris and jumping on the M8 was the vibration at an idle. I did not notice it that much at first but now I had something to compare it to. It does go away as soon as you touch the throttle. Kinda felt like I was on my 900 RMK again. The next thing was the seat. I love it. I sit down on it and my first thoughts are that it would be to hard - like a boss, but I never seemed to think that when riding. Get a bit of snow on it and it is slick though. I had the handle bars on a low setting, looking at the pictures it is to low for me but I forgot to pull them up and try it. Guess I liked them where they where though. I had a set of parobolic skis on the sled as I sold my stock ones and my Powder pros have not came in yet. Sidehilling is a dream thats about all we did when we where up there. The track grabbed awesome!!! I think the M7 will get a claw too. Now to the engine. I was not able to really open it up and see what it had as the conditions would not allow it. I liked how smooth the power was. Coming off a REV 800 it seemed similar. My buddy rode it coming off of a 900 RMK and said the bottom end was really snappy. Wish I could have tested the engine to its full potential. Thats about all I can think of as of now.

i havnt got to do ne sidehilling but ive spun som cookies out in the yard about 5555 ft we have about 3-4 ft in spots but i ran it down the highway before it was plowed wow lots of power i cant wait to get it on a long pull the seat is awesome i love it and being able to lower the handlebars for ridin in is nice to besides my seven year old thinks it is perfect for him to ride...hes dreamin i cant belive how lite it feels lays over so nice so responsive ill have some more to say after i ride up beartooth pass tomorrow and see how she runs at 10000 ft maybe ill find a good hill to climb
