ranger, from your last pic it appears the sway bar has been removed. If you know the previous owner you may want to ask if he had any shock work done to compensate or if he has the sway bar so you have the option of putting it back in.
I have always removed every sway bar that has come on a sled. That way I can get it to roll over on a sidehill or maneuver it more easily. "They have always been Cat's though." Every front end of a sled that I have had, always has the front end set to stiff. I do a lot of garage testing before I even let the sled hit the snow. If I cant get the sled in the garage to lay over easily on its side it is probably to stiff for my liking. Just my thoughts!
