first bike build , yz or sx ? pros and cons

Thermobob tstat and stiffer fork springs. Possibly a pipe, Fmf 4.1 or pro circuit if you can afford one.

Sounds like you got the right stuff. Make sure to get a plastic or carbon fiber skid plate... aluminum just collects snow and you'll have a big frozen 30lb ball hanging off the bottom. If you are taller also get a set of 2" bar risers. Pro Moto Billet makes awesome risers but they are spendy... same with the pegs and handguards. Top notch equipment that will last season after season. Worth the money IMO.

Add a 20hp shot of nitrous and you'll be set.

got pro moto pegs coming , i couldn't find risers on there site. also any one know the difference in there hand guards models? or recommend a set of bark buster style that works?

I ride with the PMB FIT 3's.... version 1 has a steering stabilizer with a center mounting plate and version 2 has the plate. So far I've been able to beat the ever living hell out of my PMB barkbusters and they just keep on ticking. If you get the Fastway 2" risers they already have the mounting hole for the guards pre-drilled and they mount up super clean.

PMB/Fastway stuff might be expensive, but so far I've been able to transition all my stuff between a WR450, KX450, and 450SXF usually by just changing mounting collars on items like the Adventure footpegs. I've saved money in the long run by buying the best stuff the first time. No regrets!
