First Attempt at a Movie. Check it out!

Well, I was hoping to get some better footage before I edited anything... but a new job has sidelined my riding. Oh well, I used what I had from a couple break in rides on the Pro. (Also my first couple rides with the GoPro, glad the angles worked out lol)

It turned out pretty decent in my opinion for first try at really editing a movie. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

Nice riding and nice job with the video.... but, you really gave the greenies a lot of ammo. If it were me, I would have either not ridden in a tree farm, or edited out the tree destruction.
You never know who is watching this videos. I don't mean to be critical, but maybe food for thought?

Point taken. I guess when you live in a small BC town where every second truck on the road is a lifted diesel with a sled deck you don't think about stuff like that. It never even crossed my mind to be completely honest. I'll remember that for next time though. Thanks!

Usually those trees aren't even showing at this time of year.... darn crappy snow year. :face-icon-small-fro

im diggin it! what editing program did you use?

Thanks man. I used Adobe Premiere Pro. Great program, but it definitely took some time to figure out what I was doing. A better alternative for "light duty" editing might be Adobe Premiere Elements. It's like Pro minus a few features but supposed to be more user friendly.

Sweet video! I'd say less effects transitioning between shots. Most pro videos just go straight to the next clip without dissolving/overlaying/whatever.

Thanks, yeah I think you are right. I mostly just did a fade out to black and fade in between clips, but I think I overdid it a bit. It would have been alright to have a few clips just jump straight into the next one.

A real easy editing programe is imovie hd, simple to put a killer package together.
