firecat steering post on a m8?

hey all,

want to ditch the bent up 09 adjustable steering post for a t top style...and going to go with a 10" riser and 09 sno pro 600 bars and controls...and a bdx top bushing block...

does a standard firecat t top post fit on a m8? or will it have to be custom like a wildchild one?

or can i cut the adjustable one down and make it a t top post?will that be weak?

looking for the strongest setup out threre...

asked in the other forums but figured you guys with all the mods on your cats should know!

thanks alot
paul

you can add to your post, just make sure you put a piece of pipe inside the old one when you cut it off.then weld it up it will work fine.I would tig weld if you can,it will be stronger and look cleaner:)

yeah, but i heard ac's posts are wekk to begin with....might do that till my wildchild one come in...
