Fine for no trail pass in Alberta

Anyone know what the fine is for no trail pass in AB if any? I buy one every year but I know a couple of people who insist they have every right to go on crown land without paying. Yes, I have told them what the trail pass pays for etc etc. I need to tell them how much it will cost if they get caught because they think no one can do anything about it.

All of Alberta. My understanding is that we buy one pass good for all of the province and most snowmobile clubs specific to certain regions get funding from that?? Not sure though.

ASA trail passes are $60.00 if bought before Jan 1 and $70.00 after. The majority of the money goes toward the club you buy the pass from. These passes are good for all trails in the province. I have never heard of fines being imposed in the province for not having a pass, although i do know some clubs take a strong stance on the use of their trail systems. Clubs are always trying to keep the trails open for everyone's benefit so please support them.

Tell your Buddies who INSIST that they have the right to ride without passes that they soon will not be able to ride anywhere if we all don't support the clubs that spend countless hours , days , months etc etc clearing trails , grooming trails , going to meetings and fighting closures , lobbying the Gov't etc etc etc . Point out to them what idiots they are for even thinking about riding without supporting the clubs .
