Finally, a qualified POTUS!

I sincerely hope you are right Mafesto I have my doubts, but i have to laugh at your title because factually he is the most unqualified person, as far as qualifications to be president go. to be ever elected to the office of the presidency. that is an historical fact made by people who study political science not my opinion. Oh sorry!!!! we are not suppose to believe in science because that is just fake news anymore.

Perhaps part of the reason we are 20 trillion in debt is because we've continued to elect people who are "politically qualified" instead of people who truly understand the business climate and financial responsibility?

Its debatable whether or not a government like ours can even be run like a business because of its structure. Now since this country has not run without a surplus since 1968 when richard "i am not a crook" Nixon took office and some of us might even remember how that turned out. Wasn't he a.... oh never mind. The only time since then the government has run with a surplus is during The last Clinton term. which i am sure nobody cares about because he is one of those stupid libertards. We also can see what Bush did with that surplus. Now you say a business man might be able to run the government better OK lets go on that premise. I wouldn't think you would want someone who somehow lost yuge amounts of money in bad business deals. One who doesn't have yuge amount of litigation against him for not paying his bills. One who had to pay 25 million to make fraud charges disappear and who's transition team is under FBI and CIA investigations currently. But Again i am sure that is just fake news. Since i am not a businessman myself, you can tell me if that is how good businesses with strong leaders are run. Again!!! I hope you are right and i am wrong on this. I truly am. After he said he promised to drain the swap known as Washington there is actually some hope here. From what I have been reading, that is actually going splendidly he is filling his cabinet with unknown billionaires and Wall Street Hedge funds managers but i am leery that this is just more fake news. Its tough to tell anymore what's a lie and what's is true. I truly hope i am wrong and this narcissist we just elected to the highest position in our government can see in his heart to help everyone on in the US become Great again. At least that is what his appointed spokesperson tells use to look at and not listen to what comes out of his mouth or his twitter fingers but whats truly in his heart

Let's not forget what the alternative was... :amen:

Boom there it is!!!!!! I'll go so far as questioning if Obama was even "politically qualified".

I'd go further than that and say Obama is / was not qualified for anything no matter what your yardstick of choice is. He acted no different than a monkey in the wild beating his chest saying "look at me, look at me, see what I did!" Meanwhile, He drove the USA further into being a third world country than all of his predecessors combined. Good ridden's to Obama, you never had America's interest at heart. You catered to the few and put the screws to the many. We will not miss you.

"Politically Qualified" for me means that person will intentionally lie to your face to get you to vote for them and once elected, then will not do anything that they promised, but instead cater to lobbyists, special interest groups, and corporate wishes (whoever and whatever pads the elected's bank account the best). I will no longer vote for any career politician, due to the fact that most do not have their constituents interest at heart but rather their own selfish priorities for being elected.

Additionally; Political Science has absolutely no basis in science at all. The name itself is a Misnomer. Political Statistics would be much more accurate but does not seem to carry any weight with the public. I'd put political science in the same corner as Scientology; as they both are based on the opinions of a few people and the need for a significant number of the people to support / believe those opinions. Zero basis in reality. IMO

Disclamer; if you believe in any of these things, that is your right as an American Citizen. If you are not a citizen you have no rights here and feel free to return to your country. Thanks!

There are two reasons Clinton was able to run a surplus.
1 The tech boom
2 He gutted the military

I think even GW would've run a surplus under those circumstances.
And in GWs defense, he had to rebuild that decimated military, beyond that, he spent worse than most democrats.

I wish Obama would have done something we could be proud of, but he fell short of even the lowest expectations. So it's a very safe statement to guarantee that Trump will far exceed the accomplishments of his predecessor.

IMO the military spending is ludicrous and could use some trimming. The US is overpopulated as it is so if Trump can keep out illegal immigrants I will be just fine with that. The other big contribution I see Trump making is allowing US companies to bring back their overseas money by lowering the amount of taxes they have to pay to do so. A lot of people don't realize how many jobs this could bring back by doing that alone. More money in companies in the USA --> More growth --> more competition for employees --> increases in salaries and benefits of the middle class.

As far as aid for foriegn countries cut that out and let other countries fight their own battles. If one of our allies/trading partners need our help they can foot the bill for boots on the ground, planes in the air, and missiles hitting targets.

Let's bi@@@ about him after he does something. I think it was past time to get rid of the other retard. ( sorry gotta be PC) retarded African American

He's already done more than obama and he's only been there two days. And hes going to keep getting things done because he knows how to do it. Obama was a city manager of a town with less money than DT. Just saying

Kind of ironic that in an interview with Trump, he compared himself to P. T. Barnum. There is a phrase often associated with Barnum himself.
"There's a sucker born every minute"

The thing is...globalization, pinching the middle class, higher cost of living, privatization vs public programs/services, and balancing international trade with "in-house" manufacturing.......these are not USA specific issues.

They are big issues in the USA....but they're big issues for every other 1/2 decent country as well. And they're not going anywhere. The US had great success for many years because they were ahead (or at/near the front) of the curve. These days...with technology allowing knowledge and info to be shared so quickly and easily, and different economies having different strategic advantages....the playing field is much more even. So I think the whole "make America great again" thing is a cool sales pitch for those who just don't understand that the "good ol days" ...are just gone.

Now that all said...I wouldn't have been any more excited to vote for the turd sandwhich over the giant douche. She is a physical form of everything I hate about politicians/politics. So I really hope it goes well for you guys, cause I would have had a tough time with the vote on this one. The last Canadian election was kinda neat, in that we had 3 parties with a fighting chance. I think eventually having more strong parties would be good for both countries, as the 2 party thing is so divisive and limiting. Getting more people on the same page is the true recipe for success (turning in to a hippy in old age).
