Filler neck leaking??

ok so called the dealer and found out that my tank was replaced in March of 08, and asked what they think i should do....they told me to buy a new tank!

what do you guys think about this??? I notice some of them are for sale without and with pumps, just wondering how hard it would be to pull the pump and such and place my stuff into a used tank

not hard at all remove 5 or 6 fasteners and the pump assy. comes out that is your best bet.

ok also found a local dealer that has a parts fusion.....said that tank they would sell would be half of retail...which retail is like 300. Is this a good deal? Was looking on ebay and there are cheaper ones, but then it would require shipping and such and since I am in canada and most of these parts are in the USA shipping would be like 50-60

or do i try a insert in the neck with apoxy of some sort??? if so any suggestions?
