feedback on Rexburg Motorsports?

I just got an email from snowest about the deals at Rexburg. $7500 for a brand new 09 XP Everest 163. Seems like a great price but it is a long drive for me. Does anyone have any feedback on their mountain setups for 8000 to 11000 feet? I realize that makes a huge difference and am not in their area to know anyone who has one of their setups.

Call them first!

Ask for out the door pricing with a breakdown of the extra fees. You'll notice the $7500 is a worm on a hook. If it works out....let us know, but the other's who have looked into came back with a much higher out the door price.

Good luck

I was thinking the same thing. I did call and out the door cost pretax is $8019. That is still pretty damn good. This includes many rebates that Ski Doo corporate is offering right now. Actually he told me they have a $500 rebate that ends today.

$8K for a brand new mountain sled seems pretty good to me, but if they didn't know how to set it up and I had to spend a lot of money having another dealer set the thing up I am making a two day drive for nothing.

I had a friend who bought there and it took him since the beginning of the season and $500 to match our sleds from a better dealer. Price doesn't mean everything to me.

What did your friend have to doo to his sled?

I got one there and have been happy with the service they offer and the sled.
Just curious

I too was going to head there. 589 miles one way. $8019 plus 175 bucks for fuel if I was lucky, 30 bucks for food and another 80 or so for a room rounds to about 8300.00 conservatively. If I were getting paid mileage, I would add another 300. You may want to give Renegade powersports in Logan a call since they were offering some smokin prices on X models earlier in Feb. I ended up negotiating a deal for an X model with the local dealer instead. Costed a little more for the sled, but got discounts on accessories. At least I know I did what I could to keep my local dealer in business and certainly let him know where his prices needed to be to be competitive.

+ 250 shipping +200 setup + 150 documentation. These aren't exact but be sure to ask!!!!!

Ask about the set up. Mine had NOTHING past what it came from the factory with. and I mean NOTHING!!! No set up not even 1 question on my ridding style area.

EDIT: I did go back 4 days later to get something checked and spoke to the Service Manager and he was pissed when he found out they took my sled off the show room and loaded it in my pickup. He said it never should have left before they had it through the shop. FWIW

Mostly clutching. I am not exactly sure. My sled came from Star Valley Ski Doo in Thayne, Wy. They have killer set up and service. I do not have a clue what my sled has in it for set up, I just know it rips.

I do not want to bad mouth RMS because they are trying to turn things around. I just know that their set up is not the same as S V S.

If you have a different setup than factory specs, then you most likely had to pay for it, they go out the door set at factory, which means YOU need to make the adjustments for where you ride, this is the same for any dealer i think.

I got one of these 163's. It rips. I ride 8000 -11,000. I had them swap the spring that I wanted and made the rider adjustments that i always doo, if you want it otherwise and dont know how, they will doo it for you.

I highly recommend RMS and this killer deal. $7495 + $180 set-up + $225 freight, $7900 out the door for out of staters.

There setup is the worst I have ever seen on a sled. Good prices terrible service departement.

While sitting in church today I was talking with one of the employees at RMS about the current sales and the SnowCheck for 2010.

His comments to me were "2009 is going to be the year of the Deal".

My suggestion..

Be patient, the deals are going to get even better with time.

They say its all in the clutching

poor parts dept.

All I know is that the parts dept Sucks!! Ordered a helix from them and call the next day to verify that it went out on ups, they said yes. Waited for 3 days no helix, called them back and it did not go out some dumbass forgot they left it at the back door. Will not buy parts from them again

RMS is the worst dealer i have ever been Around. I bought a 2007 rhino from them The price started out as 8100 by the time they got done adding all of there BS The price ended up at 9400 And then when i loaded the thing up it ran out of gas haft way up the trailer and then they would not give me any gas so me and my buddy ended up pushing the brand new rhino on to the trailer in The RMS parking lot. By the way i bought my skidoo from star valley skidoo They do not run the factory setup and they do not charge the customer any thing for there setup.
