OK, so we all vented about the garbage places in the other thread.

Where do you like to eat?

For fast food, I've never had a bad meal at Culvers.

Give a Buffalo Wild Wings or Famous Dave any day if I'm not in a hurry.

It is a one hit wonder but Mabel's Cafe (pronounced Ma Bells) in Laurel MT is a great Mexican cafe. If you drove by it you would say no way am I eating there. But if you are ever in Laurel give it a shot. We have been eating there religiuosly for over 25 years. And it is a 25 mile drive one way for us to get there. It is great!

Oh and then there is The Taco Bus in Red Lodge

And the Muzzle Loader in Billings

Chains are really starting to suck, but I like Qdoba and Sam and Louies Pizza

Not sure if there are Huhot's in the west but oh my lord I love that place. It is a buffet and it can be great for numerous types of people (healthy/carbo load/lots of protein depending on what you want).

I also enjoy Nick's gyros

Ruths Chris is the best food I've ever eaten, but need to sell an organ to afford it!

Cio Mambo (chow mambo) in Missoula is UNREAL!!!! Wait staff is 3/4 of the atmosphere. LOL. Awesome.

Cafe Firenze in Florence, MT is REALLY good too.

We have a Hu Hut on Missoula. That rules.

we just got a huhot and buffalo wild wings here in logan, the huhot is pretty good but deffinately different bein that you make your own dish then watch them cook it. bww is ok if you like wings and burgers but when they cut us off at 2 beers per hour yesterday it kinda dropped them down a notch or two on our list, i know this is mormonville usa here but c'mon most joints here atleast let ya have three an hour.

from my experience the best food always comes from the run down little mom and pop shops or bars, the big chains just seem like they're tryin to herd you in and out like cattle.

we don't have much for fast food chains around here, basically just the big ones. bk, mickyd's, carlsjr, and arbys for the most part. I'd take carls or arbys out of that list oh and jimmyjohns over subway. been to 5 guys once in the salt lake area and dont think i could afford to go back, food was good but quite spendy for a burger.

Sanfords!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Huge menu, great food!

Taco Johns for fast food, because it started in WY so the story goes just a man making tacos now everybody knows!!!!!!!!!!

Five guys burgers, love that place.

Five guys definitely have good burgers, one of the few places with fresh cut jalapeños. Only one problem, how the he!! can you eat a burger without a beer to wash the damn thing down?

ya, we were surprised when she said that, cuz like i said most restraunts here allow atleast 3 an hour. we figured being a sports "bar" and all enjoying a few beers would be ok. it was like she was trying to get rid of us when she came out and told us no more for another half hour but she could get us our ticket if we wanted. there wasn't hardly anyone in there so its not like they needed our table so we told her nah we'll wait for that beer and stuck it out. we weren't bein pains in the ***'s this time either

Oasis in Manhattan for a steak, Jimmy Johns for a quick sammich!!

Gotta love Sir Scotts Oasis, especially back in the day when I was young when they made Ted Turner and Hanoi Jane Fonda wait their turn because they came in expecting executive service without a reservation...

Also, is Monkey Don's BBQ still in business in Manhattan? Awesome BBQ and "atmosphere".

That incident never happened, I talked to a couple of the waitstaff, and I know the previous owner, and asked him too. Urban legend. Good for business, though!! I don't know about the BBQ joint, does not sound familiar. There is another bar next to the Oasis, and a diner that I eat breakfast at occasionally.
