I agree totally with what he is saying and i agree with Polaris dude, it needed to be kept behind closed doors. I understand why he did it, but when i think like her probable spoiled *** friends that see the video, one of them will probably turn him in and a big stink will be made and he will get into a bunch of trouble. Me, i probably wouldnt have gone to the extremes that he went to but i dont like it when someone tells me that my parenting skills are wrong so im not going to say that his are either. I do believe in spankings and everything else. It happened to me and i turned out pretty good, so its good enough for my kids too. And i totally agree with anothers post (cant remember whose it was) but today parents need to be just that "parents" not thier best friends.

I never said "hope nobody sees it". I just said the it will take just one person who has the "pull" to cause a stink about it. I agree kids need discipline. I too had a few lasting impressions from my parents. But I do know this, public humiliation and firearms were not part of it.

So it is permissible for his daughter to spew the hate and discontent (publicly humiliating her parents) she did, which was obviously somwhat embelished, and not appropraite for her father to respond as he did???

As far as consequences???? I really don't believe ANYONE is going to try and bring any kind of retribution towards the father. Especially and type of authority.

And I love this video, but why didn't he say all these things to his daughter? then shoot the laptop infront of her? I don't understand why the need to make a video and upload it to the internet was necessary unless it was to do the same thing she did and try to embarrass her? But then that makes him just as immature as her...And maybe that's just the way I was raised, but my parents always taught me to just grin and deal with my problems in public and to take care of problems behind closed doors. No one needs to see your arguments/problems/personal life.

I beleive the father said in the video that she had been warned before. Maybe she'll understand this time.

HAHA this thing has exploded if you search it it has a few articles about it and what he had to say about it getting so big and why he publicly posted it. he put it on facebook because his daughter posted that bullsh!t about them on facebook i would of done the same thing. and i agree with Christopher the Remington 870 12guage would of made a better video. dad of the year

I want to know what services the cleaning lady is working off.

I didnt shoot the computer but when my step son desided he didnt have to come home at night. I waited for him to come home and when he did, he went and crawled in bed and went to sleep. So i thought i was being thoughtful for letting him sleep from about 0230- 0445. I went in woke him up and asked what he was doing sleeping in my bed i bought. He responded. This is my bed. Me. Oh ok, get up. I went to the garage and grabbed a ford hammer and went back into his room. He haddent got up yet. He sure did after the foot rail dismantled itself across the room. I proceeded to dismantle the log bed frame and throw it into the front yard. I told him if he didnt want to live here and under mine and his mothers rules. Take your bed and put it somewhere else.

He has stolen personal belongings,money.
Took a knife a cut the door panel on my street rod cause he was mad at me.
Ran a lawnmower push bar down the side of my 24ft enclosed car trailer. All the panels.
He and his cousin broke into our room and were stealing the keys to my brand new truck to take there girlfriends to the river and beach.

Mommy didnt help him that morning. We found out the truck thing that day. Cousin was the driver. He wont come around. The wife meets him at an undisclosed location. hes 21 now. fair game

Defender 12 gauge with SSG would have been my weapon of choice. Parents should be parents and not friends, they have their own friends. I think this guy is freakin awesome.....I have 2 teenage girls and their life is pretty freakin good, but sometimes you gotta bring em down to make them realize just how freakin fortunate they are.....and nothing should ever be taken for granted. Sounds like this kid got what she deserved.

Hope nobody sees it? It's got over a million views. In trouble? Seriously? The laptop is his property to do with as he sees fit. Would I have handled it differently, yes. I can't discharge a firearm where I live, lol. He chose to shoot it, most parents would ground her from it, this is going to make a lasting impression. I had a couple lasting impressions from my dad, not such a bad thing to have from time to time.

I bet he kicked your as$ when you were disrespectful. Right? I know mine did. Did it make us stupid. Nope. You are a successful man.

What makes kids stupid is the fact that some Liberal douchwaffle teacher told them spanking was bad and that they should report every spanking to the teachers, who in turn call Social Services and proceed to make said parent's life a living Hell.

I love this guy. His daughter was very disrespectful, to say the least. She was really spouting off, putting on a show for her friends. I bet she really thought she was something....until dad layed down the law with the 1911.

Seems to me she has things fairly easy. Make her own bed, and help a little with the chores. Poor girl. When I see this I think it would be fun to send these kids out to live on a working farm and have them muck out the barn, throw bales, feed the animals etc. Then they would appreciate how easy home life is.
