Seized my engine after the first ride of this year took it to Fastrax for an estimate figured my season was over before it started. Curt was willing to work with me and let me try to find parts for cheaper to save a little $$. eventually found what I needed, thanks again for your patience, and not charging me storage fees. Just picked up my sled, for a more than fair price, thanks for saving my season well worth the numerous drives from Everett. Thanks Curt and Skip, class act, good luck at your new facility, " Fastrax you're the best".

PS> Sorry fellow Snowesters, being without a sled has givin' me nothing to do but Demo rides (BRP), sled rental (Webb Powersports) and hangout here all winter , but now it's time to ride.

That's why you installed Boysen reeds and aluminum boots, NO PROBLEMO ANYMORO
Oh, and to add to the story, these guys came in on Thursday (their day off) to finish my sled so I could ride this weekend because we're getting snow. What other shop goes out of their way to make this happen? OK, I'll answer, NOBODY!! That's why Fastrax is "SOFA KING GOOD"

For me it was a good day, nice to be out on the snow again, albeit a break in ride for the new motor, we still tore it up, conditions were good. Thanks Fastrax the sled rips. Now the pictures I have may or may not get posted, all I have to say is PLEASE wear your TETHER, and get RID of your lefty throttle, nuff said.

you must be talking to me, i was already using teather, but when going into corner and throttle opens (not stuck from ice) brakes do no good on a xm 2013 800 cc just hit the kill button first then hit brakes lesson learned hard way 2 to 4 seconds isn't enough time to process it all. still riding with small broken bone in shoulder and broken knee cap just waiting for orthocopic surgery and i might have to take a few weeks off then, but my dr only said stay away from trees. lol. lucky i bought a huge discounted (thanks webb power sports) new 2012 xp 163 was great for the deep powder this last sat. oh ya i get the 2013 back this week huge discount (insurance) and will find out if somehow it was contributed to lefty (as skidoo never looked) i will have a lite mountain sled without speedo/tach and aprox 480 miles on it.
if it was anything to do with locked out lefty i will post it also , i have a locked out lefty on 12 also and if it was lefty it will be off that sled too.
i only use them when nessasary (rare).

Now only if Skip could get his own sled to run right the people that he actually rides with wouldn't have to suffer... Was never quite sure how long it would take to get up to Gallagher if you stop every 5 mins? Now I know!!!

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Sadly there was another incident with one of my riding partners (unnamed). I too had a lefty throttle and thought it was neccesary, but in three years I only truthfully only needed it once and have now seen 3 incidents of epic fail.
