Farmers' Almanac's weather predictions

October 2011
24th-27th. Fair, becoming stormy.
28th-31st. Fair, turning chillier.

November 2011
1st-3rd. Chilly and dry.
4th-7th. Showery, then clear.
8th-11th. Fair at first, then stormy, with some rain and (in the Cascade Range) snow possible. :smow:
12th-15th. Continued unsettled along the Pacific Coast.
16th-19th. Mostly fair.
20th-23rd. Becoming stormy in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
24th-27th. Still very unsettled, then slowly clearing.
28th-30th. Turning much chillier.
December 2011
1st-3rd. Showers along the Pacific Coast.
4th-7th. Initially fair and chilly. Turning stormy, with strong winds and heavy precipitation.
8th-11th. Windy, partial clearing.
12th-15th. Fair, then unsettled.
16th-19th. Clearing from Pacific Coast east.
20th-23rd. Very unsettled.

"very unsettled" <-- i like how vague that is.. leaves much to the imagination

I would venture a guess that "unsettled" means stormy with breaks.

Unsettled + The efforts of "SnoSquatch" = One snowy winter !!!! :rockon:

Can not wait to get snowed in at the cabin . . . stocked up on the essentials ie: Whiskey/popcorn/sled video's, I'm ready!! :becky:

Well, I don't think they got it right. They didn't say anything about 2-3 weeks of air stagnation.
