Fall 2008 TOBE TECHNOLOGY -New Speaker Helmet-

So I thought we could post some images of next years gear. We have been getting a lot of emails and phone calls about it. I will probably just post a few at a time so I can answer questions easier if anyone has any.

Here are the helmets. The Do Thrill sold very well this season. I have not received word from Sweden if we will be selling it again for next season. We have a few XS-Medium left in stock for a great price. XS and SM are basically youth sizes.

The Do Rock Helmet is nothing short of awesome! I have been wearing one all winter and it is VERY light, comfortable, is sized normal, and the sound quality with the Skullcandy speakers is exceptional. The Swedes have really out done themselves this time!

Here are two of the new jackets. The colors are off in these images. The desert camo Billet is more tan and less green in real life and the desert Divided is more tan and less yellow. The Billet jackets have a removable hood where Divided does not. The Divided is lightly insulated where the Billet is not.
You can see on the sleeves where the optional iPod controller mounts. These pictures are of samples. The production jackets will have velcro that is color-matched to the jacket instead of black.

This is the lightest helmet out there. Period! These things weigh next to nothing, are comfortable, and have built in speakers for your MP3 player. Get 'em while they last.

I like the matte finish one. the white is pretty tight too.
So will it work with any mp3 player or do you have to buy the iPod control thing too?

No the helmet works with any audio device that has a standard earphone jack.
The iPod controller makes life a lot more convenient but it is not necessary.

are the helmet speakers available in bluetooth? after riding cordless snowboarding i would love to ride my sled cordless. scullcandy is a great product, using their bluetooth adapter for my snowboard helmet

They are not available with Blue Tooth for next season. I am not sure if/when they will be. Sorry about that.

Retail on this helmet is $375. Troy Lee sells the same shell in a heavier configuration without speakers for $425 so we think we have a great price on these.

The helmet is DOT and ECE approved and yes ECE is an AMA race approved rating.

Shortstop these helmets are new for next season. They aren't available until September. And the price is next seasons price so that won't be changing.

To Be Technologys gear does Rock!

Yah I wore To Be Gear all winter long and loved it!! At the Big Dawg I wasn't even cold!! hehe...

I have a coulpe ToBe outfits and have never had a problem! Even if i did they have a good warranty....

The customer service i got from Josh was amazing too.... If he didn't have what i was looking for he called some of his dealers to try and track it down... it was awesome!

When I got my helmet last summer, I thought I'd need to get thinner ckeek pads, but as the season has gone on....I'm happy with them.

I really like the helmet. Great stuff....I also have the fierce jacket. VERY nice jacket. I REALLY like the sleeve cuffs. Very nice. dude...spandex rules. No snow gets in them.

Only thing on my helmet, is that when I slid my goggle strap off the first time when I pulled up to a stop, I broke the vent off. Otherwise, this helmet has been flawless.

Although, I wouldn't mind having a nose shield or breath guard for those cold days.

A question..

Do the dorock helmets come without the free advertizing decals?.?. love the helmet's idea and all,,, but.

I know some like to wear the big labels, and put stickers on their sleds and such.... but I won't unless I can get real sponsorship...

does ur sled, gear, gloves ect not have a brand on them??

Marcuso, to answer your question, at this time TOBE doesn't have any plans to release a helmet with no graphics.
