Fairview/ Skyline Trail

We just built a cabin in Mt. Pleasant so we are very new to the area.. I would really like to get to know the fairview/skyline drive ride areas to ride around in..

What are some of the best places to ride around up there and how do i get to them from the parking lots up fairview canyon.. (as much detail as possible would be great!!) (We are agressive riders, love to boondock the most, hill climb but nothing too outrageous)

And does anyone know a way we could ride from our cabin just above mt pleasant up on top to the skyline trail.. I know there are a few roads that are close like the spring city canyon road and the canyon road in mt. pleasant but are they passable in the winter on sleds?

What part of Mt. Pleasant you in? Are you up Pine Creek, Wispering Pines, Aspen Hills?
The old sheep trail goes up parley's lane and you can make it up top and drop in to either lake or Rolfsen.

If you're looking for some great hill-climbing & boondocking you can park at either the "big drift" parking lot and head south and jump the canyons, or you can park at Miller's Flat parking lot and cruise around and head up come of the canyons.

Our cabin is in the whispering pines subdivision.. I'll have to get our maps out and take a look at those places.. is that old sheep trail very technical riding.. im not worried about it when me and my buddies go up cause the more technical the better for us.. But my dad wanted to figure out a way to get on top and he is not a very technical rider..

How long of a ride from those parking lots through the canyons to the spots you are talking about?
