I cant let this post slide either. So I cant send my block off to be sleeved and nikasiled? I am expected to do that myself like everyone else right? My sled is in 500 pieces in my garage next to my 4 wheelers and kids bikes, does that sound like someone who doesnt work on their own stuff? I guess scotts sleds are entirely 100% built from him, if not then you are a hypocrite. And what race did I lose that made me tear my motor apart? I beat everyone at Fairview last year, period. I had a backfire from a dead battery, a brand new dead battery i might add, a battery which I have since replaced with a larger $200 version of the same. You honsetly think I cant hold on to one of scotts sleds? Are you kidding me? does scott have a sled putting out 400+hp? Scott if this really is your wife you might want to talk to her she has no idea what she is spouting off on here.
You are a typical forum nobody who thinks by bringing down "freak" it will make you look good. I dont think you made yourself or Diamond S manufacturing look any better with your ignorant comments.

Yes, this really is Scott's WIFE, Scott can think for himself (although sometimes I have to type it). YOU are missing the whole point freak. No One wants to "bring down freak" especially little old ignorant me. The comments I made (yes MRS Scott) was to AGREE with the people saying they ride their sleds all winter long every weekend. Well at least those that are there today will have a good time. Tomorrow is shaping up to be the typical Fairview cloudy mess that is seems to be for the shoot out. Maybe there really is something to the LDS General Conference weekend and being an overcast, stormy, cloudy day.
I am thinking it really should be moved to a different weekend than this. I'll still be there tomorrow though.
I love not being able to see where I am going up there.

Who would have guessed?!?! The weathermen change their mind more than I change my underwear (which is more often than you might think).They can't predict weather 3 days out without changing their mind.

First of all, I dont think Freak has anything against Shane. I think he likes to give him sh!t just like Shane likes to give Freak sh!t. Freak is a great guy and maybe his head has gotten a little big from winning, but deservedly so. Shane is also a great guy who rides hard and builds great sleds. I think everyone should take a deep breath, hug and move on!!

I didnt say you were ignorant I said you made ignorant comments. Go look up the word. It was not meant to be derogatory. It means basically you dont know what you are saying. About the registered sleds thing, that had only to do with product tester who has a reputation for riding/racing sleds that are not his lot of the time, sorry Shane but its true, and had zero to do with anyone else. I never in a million years said I was the best rider, right there you prove youre making crap up, I have never said I never lost a race. I only said I beat everyone at Fairview last year when you implied that I lost a race that forced me to send off my motor. I DO NOT beleive that I have a high status on this forum. I went from the #1 poster to someone who has posted about 10 posts in the last 3 months, Im hardly on here anymore. I am however, whether you want to admit it or not, VERY well known and OFTEN times people such as yourself who I have never spoken a word to written or verbal take it upon themselves to attack me for no reason. One of the reasons I have all but left the forum. Its just not worth it to me anymore. I dont know how Scott feels about your comments but you should highly consider the fact that you are a representative of Diamond S and the forum is a big part of your customer pool. For you to get on here and attack me like this just looks bad for your company or anyone elses for that sake. If my wife did in front of my customers what you are doing here I would be extremely upset. Diamond S is a great company and even though I consider Scott to be a redneck, I think he is a cool guy. Why you have chosen to attack me is mind boggling. I think you used it for a way to pimp your new lightweight Nitro or something, I dont know. Go make a thread is perf/mod with photos and talk about the sled and perhaps throw up a vid of Scott, who I hear is an incredible rider, up on Youtube tearing it up on the thing. Once again you cannot hurt me by saying I can't ride, I ride better than I need, I could ride my turbo everyday If I wanted to but I would rather ride a mostly stock Dragon so I dont. the shootout is an event that is based on hp and tuning and not so much on rider skill or daring. It has a way of bringing out those who think riding is the only thing there is in the world of snowmobiling and they love to dog others for thinking there could be something else to it. And one more thing for the record. I am not against race bowl. I was heading to race bowl last year when everyone stopped me and said it was no good. I do like the hill from last year best because of safety reasons. With sleds with that much hp its very dangerous to have to turn out.

Just got back from the Mtn today....Wow if the weather is as good tomorrow as it was today....Snow is deep, somewhat powdery/creamy. Both Parking lots were full with campers and such when we left at 6 tonight.
Its really too bad (or maybe just conveinient) that Freaks sled isn't up and running B/C there is some crazy dude from Wisconsin that brought a mean green machine to race. If the snow freezes hard tonight that guy can't loose IMO. Everyone be safe and don't run over any snowkitters
