Hey I'm looking at buying a gas rack type thing from fabcraft. I already bought a jerry can, so I need something that I can adjust, to make sure it'll fit. I like this one, http://www.fabcraft.com/gas_utility.htm Anybody use that one? hows it work? Looks like the jerry can could pop out if you didn't have the straps pretty tight. Any thoughts?

I have riddin a number of times with a sled that has those cans, I never saw them come loose or pop out.

you can almost see them in this pic, he does have a bunge on them.

I have one on my long tracked T-Cat. It’s not adjustable and needs to be mounted to fit the can you are going to use. I mounted mine ~3 years ago and will be using a different can this year, so the u-clamps need to be moved to fit the new can. I used bungee straps one time and the can fell out. You need to use tie downs for sure. I would have preferred a rack with sides if I bought another one.

Hey thanks, good to know. By adjustable I ment you can mount the four corners anywhere you want, to fit what ever size can your using with it, after it's mounted it would have to stay like that of course. I might have to look at some racks then if falling out is a problem.

haha, no problem. I have looked at those though, and they probably are the best set up out there, I just wanted something cheaper.
