EZ RYDE Mounting

So i am putting an EZ RYDE 163 skid in my new 1200 which is the same as an xp and i am wondering how people are mounting them, if you mount it the way ez-ryde tells you it sure seems low in the tunnel. let me know what you guys are doing.

Just had one in the shop that was already mounted.....the rear bolts were low on the tunnel, basically the washers were riding the radius where the tunnel sides and footrest area meet. The stock mounting brackets were cut off. Had to use a open-end wrench to turn the bolts, a socket wouldn't even fit. I think a guy could bump them up just enough to get a socket in there and that would be better. Hope that helps.

I was planing on using allen head bolts simmilar to the stock suspension, so with the setup that you seen did it work well? i should mention that i'll be running 300hp ish

The owner hadn't ridden it yet, but it looked to have alot of adjustability....hopefully enough to keep your skis down. Let us know how it works for you, it's a good looking setup!
