EZ Jacker and wastegate shims?????

I was ordering adjustable primary weights from D&D a while ago and while doing that I saw these wastegate shims they offer for $35. I know nothing about them really except they cheat a few more lbs of boost. Anyway, I ordered em cause they were cheap and figured I'd find out more about em later. Well it's later and I'm looking for some info/opinions. Anyone know about these or have any experience running em? I have my pass button toggled on most of the time and I run 25% C111 to keep the DET light away. I have the D&D barker can and Linderman boost tubes as well. Thanks in advance for any info here.

Making power at elevation.....

Do a search on this section of the forum specifically for hp, best tunes, BD, and you will have all the answers you are looking for.

In a nutshell, if you don't address the factory turbo being tapped out of air at regular riding elevations, around 215hp is all you are gonna see.....even for guys that have that magical reflash at 497.5 hp. Stock turbo makes like a furnace and turns everything into heat. Having a tune that runs 26lbs of boost at sea level, or shimming the wastegate for max boost all the time, will do no more than anything else at 7000'. Now at 600' these methods will get you more performance. I am assuming in BC your riding the majority of your time in the mountains. Just be aware that most recommend head studs after 225hp for safety.

If you are looking for more than that 215 range, or just want maximum performance from your 1100, then do some browsing on www.evopowersports.com, lots of additional things to do with their stuff. The videos and sled with the BC275 kit on it is mine. That gives you an idea of a turbo replacement vs a piggyback box. Then shoot me an email as I am the distributor for Evo product in Canada and stock all of it.

Good luck in your learning.
