Anyone use the plastic EZ-board inserts on 2011,12. I can get these free of charge. Beer only. I also can get 2014 set boards for $175. Another $125 if I want to powder coat them. I will try ez boards if they work or is stock 2014 boards much better. I know free is good but only if they work. Thanks for input.

I have both, mad fab's on an 11, stock on 14. For the money and work, tough to beat the mad fab's. Less snow, less ice, easy to clean. Wrap your tunnel, and it's even better. I have a tunnel wrap on the 14, also, and the 14 has abit less on the boards on average when riding with the bigger holes, but both clean off pow with a sweep of the foot. The stock rear drop brackets are the real problem, regardless of boards - brackets are ice machines. Given these are 'free', give them a try, you're just out some rivets. The circumstance where you would find the biggest difference is wet, heavy, cascade cement snow, and snow getting packed into the footwells. If that is seldom for you, there is much less to gain by cutting off the 11 stock boards than inserts. Good luck.

EZ Boards work better than the newer OEM boards if used with tunnel wrap and footwell block-offs. Snow cannot stick to them and they strengthen the stock boards for better carving. BEST mod I've ever done to my '11 Pro, by far! You're crazy if you don't try them.

Have FUN!
