Extra plug

I’m installing a new engine in my 2012 Pro and I have this open white plug but nothing to put in it. Am I missing something or is it an extra plug?

BTW, I know the white and black plug below it is for the hood.

Poo later put a blank plug in that connector to keep moisture out and prevent ev. shorts. I got one at my first service.
