I have installed a extra injector controller on this customers sled. It has a MCX kit, but the motor was modified beyond where the MCX box could add enough fuel, so now the customer can control at how much boost the extra injectors start adding fuel, and how much injector duty cycle the extra injectors will have. Getting proper fuel control under boost is easily adjustable with just the turn of a dial.

Additional injector controllers have been around for a long time,, this unit is specific to the sledders as its waterproof !!!

Its a very nice unit thats going to fit the niche perfectly..

Neil can you set one up for up to work up to 40 psi boost?
i'd love to add it to one of the 800 or 1000 carbed promods..

I've used other AIC's with awsome results,, look forward to using this system on the next trail sled,,if you can modify it for the higher boost I'll buy 2 for the team..

Hey Gus, my supplier asked me if I needed mapping for over 22 lbs, and I told them probably not, BUT, he said they could modify a box to read from an external map sensor, so we could easily map for more boost. So your answer is Yes, but no not yet.:face-icon-small-coo.
People are not going to believe how easy this system is to tune, I had my Nytro rocking within 5 minutes. It's great having the sleds run on there stock fuel systems until they need fuel under boost.

Thanks man. You shoot me a pm or email when your ready ..

I can only get so much fuel thru a 2.7 needle seat even at 60 psi fuel.

having another controlable source would be fun.

thanks neil

Fun possibilities Gus :face-icon-small-win

Hey NM, So will this controller work stand alone with just a tach input and some power or does it need to sync with an ECU or primary injector signals?

It was designed to pickup on a tach signal of any sort, even down to low voltage. on the EFI sleds I use a injector signal, but now there are two stroke guys testing with a pickup lead off the flywheel. I really do recommend a battery in the 2smokers just to act as a filter for the erratic power supply.

can't you just run a capasitor to sraighten out the power spike.
You might be able to Bryce, but this system was designed for consistent power supply. If you can achieve that with a capacitor, then you should be good to go. A small battery is relatively inexpensive if you have to go that way.

Even with the capacitor on some of the 2 stroke electric systems, it seems that there is spiking. On the Arctic Cats you have to run 2 of them in order to smooth it out and the small battery some of these systems use is both more reliable and smaller.

I have a dumb beginner question, I have a 05 King Cat 900 EFI and am installing a turbo that can boost 17 lbs max or so I'm told, Will I need extra injectors at 17 lbs of boost?

Thanks Brad

I really don't know a whole bunch about 2 stroke turbos, but that would be alot of boost for that motor I would think. I would think extra injectors would be your best bet.

are you putting these injectors and controllers in to replace a power jet on carbed sleds or are the injected sleds only. I have a carbed xp turbo with power jets but would put injectors in instead if you could control it with a control box just for the adjustablity and tunning ease. and are you using egt's to set the jetting or air fuel ratio gauges on 2 strokes. I have egt and not happy with it seem to be all over the place. would like to try some thing else if this is a possibility where can i get it and how much $

You can put these controllers on any machine, it just uses a signal to tell the AIC what to do, if you are wanting to add these to a carbed sled then you will have to add a fuel pump to supply the additional injector system. as it uses fuel injectors that require 43+psi of fuel.
they cost around $540, plus injectors if i remember correctly.

But yes you can replace your power jets with the AIC, just be prepared for some fuel system upgrades! and some Tig welding of injector holding
devices!

As for tuning: i'm a fan of the wideband sensor.. as the egts when you run a forced induction will be off from the N/A engine.. so i
run the wideband to tune, if you were to tune with an EGT and then check it against the wide band you'll be very suprized how far apart
they from true!
AEM widebands are about $190 with sensor and a bung

I am offering a conversion airbox for JUST this application.

My kit includes the boost it system ( dial box ) injectors plumbing and tuning instructions.

I also have a unit on the promod rt ( race) carb with injectors for drag racing.

you can get systems from me, NM or any other supplier and have at it. they work well.

it is not just as easy as installing a set of injectors to the carbed sled. you will need another loop on the fuel. things you will need is a fuel pressure reg, another fuel pump, return and supply fitting, boost fittings, boostline, fuel line clamps and misc fittings. would work well though.

There is a better way that is so much less complex Bryce. Once I get another 2 or three out there It will be revealed to all..no such thing as secrets in this game..

Going that old route of parallel sytems is what causes frustration on the overlap period. With the BSP boost it system you have full control of carb tuning as well as the injectors from the dash..as usual,,,its was right under my nose nipping at it..:pound::pound::laugh:

the next 2 systems are going to be testing in BC..soon

tell us about it!:tape2: i am looking forward to hering about it.
